PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and control method, capable of charging a rechargeable battery safely, efficiently and in a short time.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a first path R1 through which a first charging current runs; a second path R2 through which a second charging current larger than a maximum value of the first charging current runs; a charging controller 32 that is disposed on the first path R1 and performs power control in charging a rechargeable battery 31. The charging controller 32 controls so that the second charging current is supplied to the rechargeable battery 31 through the second path R2 when a voltage value of the rechargeable battery 31 is a predetermined voltage range. |
