In this inkjet marking device (1), a printing means (220) is provided with a printing head (222) having a plurality of nozzles (224) provided thereto along a direction intersecting the conveyance direction of objects (P) to be printed on. The printing head (222) is supported so as to be capable of movement along the arrangement direction of the nozzles (224). During nozzle switching in which the nozzle (224) to be used is changed, a control means temporarily stops operation of a supply means (10), forms, in a conveyance means (20), a no-holding area in which the objects (P) to be printed on are not held in a holding unit (22), and, after printing on the objects (P) to be printed on has been performed, moves the printing head (222) while the no-holding area passes through a printing area (A). |
