PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image of high image quality by making control correction data controllable in a short time without excessively enlarging circuit scale, and making a white balance within a screen of a display device uniform using the correction data.SOLUTION: The display device comprises: an in-plane white balance correction part (11) storing a plurality of correction data items in which a plurality of predetermined gradations of a video signal are made correspondent to chromaticity differentials for correcting the video signal, in association with measuring points of a plurality of chromaticities that are set within the screen, and using the first correction data to correct the video signal to be displayed within a screen of a display part in accordance with a position within the screen; and a reference point gamma/white balance correction part (12) storing second correction data determining an output gradation corresponding to an input gradation of the video signal for each of RGB, and using the second correction data to correct the video signal outputted from the in-plane white balance correction part (11) in accordance with a common input and output relation within the screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
