PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for vehicle, configured to improve convenience on providing text data from an in-vehicle device to a mobile device.SOLUTION: An information processing system for vehicle is formed by connecting an in-vehicle device to a mobile device by means of a communication protocol. The in-vehicle device includes: a storage unit for storing implementation information of a mail transmission function defined by the communication protocol; a control unit for determining whether the mail transmission function of the mobile device has been implemented or not, in response to an instruction to transmit e-mail to the mobile device, from information in the storage unit; and a processing unit which transmits an e-mail text created by the in-vehicle device to the mobile device, when the mail transmission function has been implemented, to instruct the mobile device to create e-mail in association with the e-mail text and to transmit it to an external network, or to instruct the mobile device to create the e-mail text when the mail transmission function is not implemented. The mobile device includes: a text generation unit which generates an e-mail text, in accordance with an instruction of the in-vehicle device; and a control unit which transmits e-mail based on the generated e-mail text, to the external network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
