A perspective drawing instrument comprising a stencil 11 having perforation 12 along a set of perspective lines 13 converging to a vanishing point 14. The stencil may have vertical lines 15 intersecting one or more of the perspective lines and the vanishing point may be within or outwith the stencil. The vanishing point may be at infinity such that the perspective lines are parallel. The stencil may have two or more vanishing points and two or more sets of converging perspective lines. There may be three sets of parallel lines, two of which may be inclined to the third. Preferably the perforation is in the form of pencil point slots (12a) and/or holes (12b) along the perspective lines and their vanishing point. The instrument may have a vanishing point at one corner, or vanishing points at corners on the same edge. One edge of the instrument 11a may be graduated. There may be curved formations (16) for drawing curved lines which may comprise major and minor arcs of an ellipse. |
