PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning blade and an image forming apparatus that can satisfactorily eliminate paper powder filming on an intermediate transfer belt and provide good cleaning performance.SOLUTION: There is provided a cleaning blade 21 that is in contact with a surface of an intermediate transfer belt conveying a toner image transferred from an image carrier, such as a photoreceptor to a transfer part, such as a secondary transfer roller transferring the toner image to a recording sheet P, to clean the surface of the intermediate transfer belt, wherein a predetermined area including a tip ridge part 22c being a contact part with the intermediate transfer belt is immersed in at least one resin of an acrylic resin and a methacrylic resin to adjust the Martens hardness of the tip ridge part 22c of the cleaning blade to be 2 N/mm2 or more and 10 N/mm2 or less and the elastic power to be 70% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
