PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digging machine of root crops such as yams in which tractive drag is reduced to enable digging work smoothly with durability.SOLUTION: A digging machine of root crops such as yams is characterized in that an extended board 4 for extending a slope of a belt conveyor is provided in the belt conveyor rear end of a digging-out body 3, the extended board 4 is mounted so that an angle can be changed to the slope of the belt conveyor, and mountable and removable. Also, the digging machine of the root crops such as yams has an outside plate extrusion 4e and an inside plate extrusion in an upper edge proximal to the upper edge of a conveyor side plate 3f of an inside plate 4b and an outside plate 4c being the mounting part of the extended board 4, respectively, and the extension part of a sealing material 3h is supported by this extrusion and comes into abutment with the plane part of the extended board 4, and further the sealing material 3h comes into abutment with the belt conveyor along the belt conveyor outer circumference when the extended board 4 is not mounted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
