<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which retains an advantage of using deep-color toner and light-color toner and, at the same time, can suppress the carrier deposition to an image carrier apt to be caused on an image formation part using the light-color toner in particular. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: first and second image carriers 1a, 1c on which electrostatic images are formed; and first and second developing means 4a, 4c which respectively develop the electrostatic images formed on the first and second image carriers 1a, 1c by using a developer provided with the toners and a carrier, wherein the first toner used by the first developing means 4a and the second toner used by the second developing means 4c have the same hue each other, and the first toner has relatively thin concentration as compared to the second toner. Further, the image forming apparatus which forms an image of the hue by using the first toner and the second toner has such a constitution that capacitance per unit area of the first image carrier 1a is larger than capacitance per unit area of the second image carrier 1c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
