This hardening apparatus 100 is provided with: a profiling gauge 150, which is a member with the same axial shape as the axial shape of a curved pipe 120 and is held in the same orientation as the curved pipe; and a profiling means 160, which is a member that is capable of moving in the longitudinal direction of the curved pipe and the profiling gauge, and also is capable of moving in a direction orthogonal to said longitudinal direction. One end of the profiling means holds a guide part 190 that slidably engages along the profiling gauge, and the other end holds a hardening means 110. A conveyance means 130 moves the hardening means in said longitudinal direction by moving the profiling means. Provided thereby is a hardening apparatus for a curved pipe with which: it is possible to rigorously control the positional relationship between the curved pipe and a heating means 111; workload associated with set-up changes is low; and low cost and space-saving can be achieved. |
