The present invention relates to a device for predicting ventricular arrhythmia and a method therefor. The method for predicting ventricular arrhythmia, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving an electrocardiogram signal and/or a respiratory signal of a ventricular arrhythmia patient; acquiring at least one of parameter values related to heart rate variability and respiratory variability of the ventricular arrhythmia patient by analyzing the electrocardiogram signal and/or the respiratory signal of the ventricular arrhythmia patient; generating a ventricular arrhythmia estimation algorithm for predicting whether ventricular arrhythmia has occurred by using the acquired parameter value; predicting whether ventricular arrhythmia of a user has occurred by applying at least one of parameter values related to heart rate variability and respiratory variability of the user to the ventricular arrhythmia estimation algorithm; and outputting the prediction result of whether ventricular arrhythmia has occurred. According to the present invention, the method for predicting ventricular arrhythmia enables prediction of onset of disease at a high probability before the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia. Specifically, since ventricular arrhythmia can be predicted one hour before the occurrence thereof, a patient can secure enough time to deal with the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia. In addition, since the method can provide a service by being linked to a patient monitoring device provided inside a hospital and also provide a service by being linked to u-health equipment such as a portable electrocardiogram meter or a portable respiration meter, a patient can quickly deal with the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia even during daily life. |
