A blower device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a rotor comprising a shaft arranged along a central axis that extends in the vertical direction; a stator positioned on the radially outward side of the rotor; a cylindrical housing for accommodating the rotor and the stator; and an impeller that is attached to the shaft above the stator. The stator comprises an annular core back section, a plurality of teeth sections extending radially inward from the core back section, a plurality of coils wrapped around the teeth sections, and at least two wall sections arranged in the circumferential direction with a gap therebetween. The radially outward ends of the two wall sections constitute an outer opening on the radially outward side of the gap. The radially inward ends of the two wall sections constitute an inner opening on the radially inward side of the gap. The housing comprises a first through hole that passes through the housing in the radial direction. The first through hole connects with the outer opening. At least one of circumferentially adjacent wall sections comprises a side end surface that faces the gap and that is inclined with respect to the radial direction. |
