PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guide device and route guide method capable of guiding the outline of the whole route from a departure point to a destination according to user's learning level of the route.SOLUTION: A route guide device includes: a current place acquisition unit for acquiring the current place; an input unit for inputting a destination; a route search unit for searching for a route from the current place to the destination; a level storage unit for storing user's learning level of road information; a route outline generation unit for generating the whole route information for the whole route on the basis of the searched route and the learning level stored in the level storage unit; and a reporting unit for reporting the whole route information generated by the route outline generation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
