PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removal mechanism and a blast furnace that can function as eco-friendly equipment allowing for reduction of cost required for dust removal, and improvement of yield of a raw material to be charged into a blast furnace thereby reduction of cost of pig iron itself.SOLUTION: A dust removal mechanism 100 for removing dust d contained in blast furnace gas G1 which is discharged to outside through an off-take pipe 16 and an ascending pipe from a gas discharge port 10c of a blast furnace body 10 comprises a plurality of collision members each having a collision face against which the blast furnace gas G1 collides and which consequently separates dusts in the gas flow. The plurality of collision members are arranged in such a manner that the respective collision faces face the gas discharge port 10c side and the collision members are spaced in the off-take pipe 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
