PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layered optical information recording medium applicable to a use which particularly requires a high reliability (long term data conservation) of the recording medium by reducing peel-off of an intermediate layer in the outer periphery part to increase the reliability of the recording medium.SOLUTION: An optical information recording medium in an embodiment includes: a base plate 1; two or more record layers including a first record layer 2 and a second record layer 4 which are formed on the base plate 1; an intermediate layer 3 which is formed between the first record layer 2 and the second record layer 4; and a cover layer 5 which covers the record layers and the intermediate layer 3. An area formed with the intermediate layer 3 is smaller than an area of the base plate 1, and the cover layer 5 covers the side face of the base plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
