PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent developer from scattering in comparison with a configuration including a loop-like or bag-like seal member.SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a container 31 that accommodates developer; a development roll 32 that is arranged to have an area proximate to a photoreceptor 21 exposed from the container 31, and conveys the developer to a position facing the photoreceptor 21 to develop an electrostatic latent image present on the photoreceptor 21; a first seal member 34 that is supported by the container 31 in a rotation direction upstream side of the photoreceptor 21 with respect to the development roll 32 to get wider toward the photoreceptor 21, and is deflected accompanied by rotation of the photoreceptor 21 by an end edge coming into contact with the photoreceptor 21; and a second seal member that is supported by the container 31 in a rotation direction upstream side of the photoreceptor 21 with respect to the first seal member 34 to get wider toward the photoreceptor 21, and is deflected accompanied by the rotation of the photoreceptor 21 by an end edge coming into contact with the photoreceptor 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
