PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which has a continuous spectrum like sunlight and improves a color rendering property.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises: an excitation light source that emits light in a short wavelength region of visible light; and a fluorescent substance that absorbs the light from the excitation light source, performs wavelength conversion thereon and emits light in a longer wavelength region than the light from the excitation light source. When a wavelength in which the light from the excitation light source indicates a maximum value of an energy intensity is defined as a first wavelength, a wavelength in which light from a wavelength conversion member indicates the maximum value of the energy intensity is defined as a second wavelength, a wavelength which is between the first wavelength and the second wavelength and in which the emission spectrum of the light-emitting device indicates a minimum value of the energy intensity is defined as a third wavelength, 650 nm is defined as a fourth wavelength and 520 nm is defined as a fifth wavelength, regarding the emission spectrum in the visible light region of the light-emitting device, a ratio of the energy intensity in the first wavelength and the energy intensities in the second to fifth wavelengths is first:second:third:fourth:fifth=100:(40 to 60):(10 to 25):(25 to 35):(45 to 55).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
