PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method useful for enhancing the adhesiveness between a metal and a resin, and capable of forming a chemical coating film excellent in chemical resistance on the surface of the metal, and to provide a metal and resin adhering method having the surface treatment method applied thereto.SOLUTION: A surface treatment method comprises: the step of causing a surface treatment liquid containing an azole silane compound of a specific structure having an azole ring and a thioether bond in a molecule to contact as a silane compound with a metal thereby to form a chemical coating film on the surface of a metal; and the step of causing an acid solution or an alkaline solution to contact with the metal after heating the metal formed with the chemical coating film thereby to modify the chemical coating film.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
