PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure of a driver IC by preventing the occurrence of an overshoot waveform or undershoot waveform of a signal in a data input terminal of the driver IC.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element drive system comprises: an LED array chip; a driver IC 101_1 driving the LED array chip; an LED head 19 which has a wiring pattern 313 propagating a printing data signal HD-DATA 1 to the driver IC 101_1; and a cable 315 which propagates the printing data signal HD-DATA 1 to the wiring pattern 313 from a printing control part 1. The LED head 19 further includes a resistor 311 which is connected to the wiring pattern 313 and brings a characteristic impedance of the wiring pattern 313 closer to a characteristic impedance of the cable 315.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
