PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electronic control device which can suppress error detection of abnormality of an operation part.SOLUTION: A vehicular electronic control device 1 comprises a microcomputer 10 as an operation part for outputting a watch-dog signal Swd, and a monitor IC 20 as a monitoring part for monitoring a state of the microcomputer 10 based on the watch-dog signal Swd. The monitor IC 20 resets the microcomputer 10 based on stop of outputting of the watch-dog signal Swd from the microcomputer 10, measures reset such number of times that the microcomputers 10 has been reset, and detects abnormality of the microcomputer 10 based on the fact that said reset number of times becomes equal to a specified reset number threshold or more. The monitor IC 20 resets the microcomputer 10 based on a reset request of the microcomputer 10. The monitor IC 20 stops measurement of rest number of times when resetting the microcomputer 10 based on the reset request of the microcomputer 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
