摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation device capable of making a solar battery panel follow the sun with a simple configuration, thereby enhancing the photovoltaic power generation efficiency.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation device includes a plurality of strip-shaped solar battery panels 4, and makes the solar battery panels 4 follow the diurnal motion of the sun so that the sunlight is substantially perpendicularly incident to the light receiving surfaces 4a of the solar cell panels 4. Plural panel mounting swing frames 5 to which the plural solar battery panels 4 are secured are arranged in parallel. The photovoltaic power generation device includes an angle adjusting mechanism 3 for adjusting the orientation of the light receiving surfaces 4a of the solar battery panels 4 in accordance with the seasonal variation of the orbit of the sun, and a rotation driving mechanism 6 for swinging the swing frames 5 in conformity with the diurnal motion of the sun to rotate the plural solar battery panels 4. The rotation drive mechanism 6 is configured to mechanically and interlockingly connect the solar battery panels 4 by a drive shaft rotated by a motor, plural worm gear portions secured to a drive shaft, and plural worm wheel portions which are engaged with the worm gear portions to swing the swing frames 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
