PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that the occurrence of deformation in magnetism-collecting terminals is prevented when the magnetism-collecting terminals are press-fitted into a case, in a torque detection device comprising a multipolar magnet secured to a first shaft, a yoke holder secured to a second shaft that is coaxially connected to the first shaft via a torsion bar, a pair of magnetic yokes secured to the yoke holder, a pair of magnetism-collecting terminals individually corresponding to the magnetic yokes and press-fitted into the case located at a fixed position, and a sensor unit having a magnetism detection element disposed between these magnetism-collecting terminals and detecting a difference in the rotational phases of the first shaft and the second shaft.SOLUTION: A pair of press-fitting pieces 46c, 47c having bent parts 65, 66 facing a press-fitting direction 50 are provided on magnetism-collecting terminals 46, 47, respectively, so as to be pressed by a press-fitting jig 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
