1. A rotary container handling arrangement for handling containers, such as glass bottles, plastic bottles, and cans, said rotary container handling arrangement comprising:
a rotatable carousel configured to rotate about a vertical axis; a plurality of transport compartments being disposed about the periphery of said rotatable carousel, each configured to receive a container therein; each of said transport compartments comprising transport compartment arms configured to hold a container therebetween; protective covers being removably connected to said transport compartment arms; each of said protective covers comprising a protective body configured to cover a container contact portion of said transport compartment arms to protect containers held by said transport compartment arms from damage caused by contact with said transport compartment arms; each of said protective covers comprising at least one connecting element being configured to removably connect said protective covers to said transport compartment arms; and said at least one connecting element being integrally formed as a one-piece structure with said protective body.
