[Problem] To provide a production method for a functional composite film, wherein deformation, breakage, etc. can be suppressed at each step. [Solution] The present invention has: a conjugation step wherein a functional-material solution that includes a functional material 12 is brought into contact with a porous film 11 that is laminated upon a base material 13 so as to fill the porous film 11 with the functional material 12 and to generate a functional composite film 10; an ultrasonic irradiation step wherein the functional composite film 10 generated by means of the conjugation step is irradiated with ultrasonic waves for a prescribed period of time while immersed in a liquid W with which a liquid tank 14 is filled; and a peeling step wherein the base material 13 is peeled off of the functional composite film 10 that was irradiated with ultrasonic waves during the ultrasonic irradiation step.
