A transfer device (1) for transferring bulk goods (2) from a first transport means (3) to a second transport means (4) and/or from the second transport means (4) to the first transport means (3), comprising a pronged table (5), a shelf means (6), and a lifting device (7); – wherein the pronged table (5) comprises multiple prongs (5a-5e) on which the bulk goods (2) can be deposited; – wherein the shelf means (6) comprises a shelf surface (6z, 6z') on which the bulk goods can likewise be deposited, and which comprises recesses (6a-6e, 6a'-6z') corresponding to the prongs; – wherein the lifting device (7) is configured for carrying out a relative movement between the pronged table (5) and the shelf means (6) such that the shelf surface (6z) with the recesses (6a-6e) and the prongs (5a-5e) can be moved into one another and thus the bulk goods (2) can be transferred from the shelf means (6) to the pronged table (5) and/or from the pronged table (5) to the shelf means (6) via the relative movement.
