PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very compact and small photocoupler module coupled with high photosensitivity.SOLUTION: A laminated photocoupler module OPT has a transmission module S having a transmission region SF, a reception module E having a reception region EF, and a flat electrical insulator. An insulator IS is provided between the transmitting module and the receiving module. The transmitting module and the receiving module are optically coupled while being electrically separated from each other. The insulator is transparent to the emission wavelength of the transmitting module. The light of the transmitting module mainly passes through the insulator and acts on the receiving module. The partial voltage source of the receiving module comprises semiconductor diodes D1 to D4 with pn junctions, tunneling diodes TD1 to TD3 are provided respectively between two consecutive partial voltage sources, and both of the partial voltage source and the tunneling diodes are monolithically integrated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
