PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a vibration type driving device using a vibration member molded by press working for reducing cost cannot provide a vibrator designed for high torque and high durability.SOLUTION: A vibrator of a vibration type driving device according to one mode of the present invention comprises: a first vibration member that includes projections projecting in a first direction; a second vibration member that includes projections projecting in a direction reverse to the first direction; and an electro-mechanical energy conversion element that is fixed to the first vibration member. The first projections and the second projections each have a hollow structure, and the first vibration member and the second vibration member are arranged such that surfaces not including the projections face to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
