PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of executing a higher value-added function.SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver 40100 capable of outputting data to external equipment includes: a receiver unit which receives a digital broadcast signal including a first data flow; a communication unit 121 which acquires a second data flow associated with the first data flow from a server device through a communication line; and a digital interface 40125 capable of outputting data to external equipment through a cable having a plurality of transmission lines in an identical cable. As a data output control state by the digital interface, there are a first output control state in which only data included in the first data flow is output, and a second output control state in which both data included in the first and second data flows are output. In the second output control state, data included in the first and second data flows are output through different transmission lines among the plurality of transmission lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29A |
