PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element which has a high degree of freedom in color specification and less light volume loss and a small difference in contrast depending on a viewing angle and which is severely dependent on a viewing angle.SOLUTION: In an organic EL element 1 where an anode 4 (transparent electrode) consisting primarily of silver, organic functional layers (6, 8, 10) and a cathode 12 (counter electrode) paired with the anode 4 are laminated on a transparent substrate 2 in this order, with reference to u'v' chromaticity coordinate defined by CIE 1976 color specification system, a chromatic change rate L≥0.14, an omnidirectional intensity D≥0.7 and a hue change rate θ×D≥70 are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
