PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection system capable of eliminating an influence of a high pressure peak generated in a low pressure circuit on a low pressure side with a simple structure, without complicating and enlarging a high pressure pump, and a damper used for the fuel injection system.SOLUTION: On fuel lines (24 and 25), a damper (10) is disposed and fixed. The damper (10) has fuel line portions (5, 6, and 7) which is equipped with a pair of fuel line connecting portions (5a,5b, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) connected to the fuel lines (24 and 25) at both ends, and through which diesel fuel can pass through inside; cover portions (1, 2, 40, and 42) forming a sealed space (C) disposed so as to branch off from the fuel line portions (5, 6, and 7); and a pressure absorbing body (3) disposed in the sealed space (C).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
