PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purification method and a device capable of incorporating water treatment using an ion exchange resin, while restraining cost, by adding slight remodeling to existing water treatment equipment.SOLUTION: A water purification device in water treatment equipment comprises a rapid speed agitation pond 14 for mixing raw water and a coagulant by agitating the raw water to which the coagulant is added at a high speed, and gentle speed agitation ponds 15, 16 and 17 for making a flock coarse by coagulating a suspension substance in the raw water by agitating the raw water obtained by mixing the coagulant at a low speed in the rapid speed agitation pond. The rapid speed agitation pond is provided with ion exchange resin input means 21 for contacting with the raw water by inputting an ion exchange resin to the rapid speed agitation pond, ion exchange resin recovery means 22 for recovering the ion exchange resin flowed in the gentle speed agitation pond from the gentle speed agitation pond together with the raw water; and an ion exchange resin sending-back means 23 for sending-back and circulating the recovered ion exchange resin to the rapid speed agitation pond.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
