PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet formation device capable of restraining a variation in the number of settleable particles included in a discharged droplet.SOLUTION: This droplet formation device comprises a liquid holding part for holding a solution including a settleable particle, a film-like member having a nozzle and vibrating to discharge the solution held by the liquid holding part as a droplet from the nozzle, excitation means for vibrating the film-like member and driving means for selectively imparting a discharge waveform for forming the droplet by vibrating the film-like member and an agitation waveform for vibrating the film-like member in a range of not forming the droplet, to the excitation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
