PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining quality of powder instant coffee such as flavor and freshness of the instant coffee for a long term, the instant coffee being left in a container after the container is opened.SOLUTION: A container and a use method of the powder instant coffee are same to those in a prior art, and the powder instant coffee is subdivided into a constant amount, and the subdivided instant coffee is made into a solid which is a constant small pea-sized solid, by a method of a compression formation or the like, and a food product which is easily dissolved in a liquid and does not transmit air coats the solid-state instant coffee, for maintaining quality of the instant coffee for a long term, thereby, quality of the powder instant coffee such as flavor and freshness left in the container can be maintained since opening of the container until an expiration date of the instant coffee, and a method for maintaining the quality of the instant coffee such as flavor and freshness is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
