PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image printed matter having such properties that visibility of a latent image does not depend on a positional relation between a light source and the printed matter and that visibility of the latent image is improved with luminous energy of a limited light source present upon viewing the latent image printed matter.SOLUTION: The latent image printed matter includes: a substrate with a light-reflecting region having at least either of a light-dark flip-flop property and a color flip-flop property and showing a brightness (L*) of 400 or more in specular reflection light at an incident angle of 10° to 60° in accordance with CIE (1976); a semi-cylindrical element group on the substrate, which comprises a plurality of light-transmitting semi-cylindrical elements arranged at a predetermined pitch; and a latent image element group thereon, which comprises a plurality of latent image elements having a hue different from that of the semi-cylindrical element group under specular reflection light, and having a basic image divided and/or compressed on the elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
