PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glue scraping device that scrapes only a certain amount of a portion of both ends of the glue coated on a back surface without being affected by the size (vertical direction) of a text sheet bundle.SOLUTION: In a glue coating apparatus 125, a text sheet bundle PS equally coated on a back surface in a predetermined thickness is moved to a push down starting position, and is made to fall from this push down starting position based on the push down amount defined according to the length in the vertical direction of the text sheet bundle PS. Glue scraping means 2 turns the text sheet bundle PS to the downward direction following the lowering thereof while each corner in the vertical direction of the text sheet bundle PS coming down comes into contact, the text sheet bundle PS is made to slide to the glue scraping direction while a space between the corner and the glue scraping surface 2d becomes a predetermined glue scraping angle θ, and thereby a portion of both ends in the longitudinal direction in the glue G coated on the back surface of the text sheet bundle PS is scraped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
