PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control plant growth in plant cultivation by artificial light.SOLUTION: An illuminating device for plant cultivation is provided that comprises: a light source 110 having a first light emitting part 122 that emits the light having a peak wavelength in a first wavelength region of 600 nm or more to 700 nm or less, and a second light emitting part 142 that emits the light having a peak wavelength in a second wavelength region of 500 nm or more to less than 600 nm; and a control part 160 that controls the light source. The control part controls at least one of current and voltage supplied to the light source so that the ratio of the photosynthetic photon flux density of the light in the second wavelength region of the light emitted from the light source to the photosynthetic photon flux density of the light in the first wavelength region out of the light emitted from the light source is 3% or more to 75% or less, or 80% or more to 180% or less, at a position of 30 cm from the light source in the air having a temperature of 19°C or more to 23°C or less and a relative humidity of 60% or more to 70% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
