PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle snow melting device that can efficiently remove snow accumulated on a railway vehicle having a carriage cover.SOLUTION: This railway vehicle snow melting device is provided for removing snow accumulated on a carriage by injecting liquid to a railway vehicle having a carriage cover 103 covering up the side of a carriage 100. The railway vehicle snow melting device has an external header (11) installed in the outside of two rails along the two rails where a railway vehicle passes. In the external header (11), two or more fan type scattering nozzles (14) for injecting the liquid are connected so that the scattering of the first direction may be increased more than the scattering of the second direction of two directions perpendicular to the liquid injection direction. The two or more fan type scattering nozzles (14) connected to an external header are disposed in the vicinity of the position overlapping with the carriage cover (103) in the vehicle width direction of the railway vehicle so that the first direction may face the direction substantially parallel to the rail and the liquid may reach the back of a space (E1) between the carriage cover (103) and the carriage (100).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
