Provided is a storage battery control device that is used in conjunction with a storage battery in an existing solar power generating system. A storage battery control device (10) comprises: a DC/DC converter (12) for transferring power between a power line (40) and a storage battery (20); and a control unit (14) that determines, on the basis of a voltage value or current value of an input of a PCS (32), whether maximum power point tracking control using a hill-climbing method is currently being performed by the PCS (32), adjusts the magnitude of charging/discharging power of the storage battery (20) on the basis of the voltage value or current value of the input of the PCS (32) such that the input power of the PCS (32) achieves a target value in a period in which maximum power point tracking control using a hill-climbing method is being performed, and maintains the magnitude of the charging/discharging power at the magnitude of the charging/discharging power at the beginning of the period in which maximum power point tracking control using a hill-climbing method is not being performed. |
