<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal certifying system which serves to affix a seal to documents or the like with a function to certify the formal registration of a seal main body actually used during affixing the seal, and the seal. <P>SOLUTION: In this seal certification system, the following components are provided: a seal 11 which incorporates an IC tag 21 comprising a semiconductor memory part 23 and a first antenna part 24 for sending data to the semiconductor memory part 23 and receiving data from the part 23; a reader/writer device 42 which has a second antenna part for sending data to the first antenna part 24 and receiving data from the part 24 and at the same time, performs an operation to read intrinsic identification data of the seal 11 from the IC tag 21 or write the data to the IC tag 21; a data server 44 which registers and manages the identification data and personal data corresponding to the identification data; and a terminal device 43. The terminal device 43 verifies the identification data which are read by the reader/writer device 42 and stored in the semiconductor memory part 23 with the identification data and the personal data registered in the data server 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
