<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a small ship capable of easily steering the small ship by a small steering force without considering waterproofness. <P>SOLUTION: A pump device 5 to drive a cylinder device 7 to turn and steer a body of an outboard motor 6 as a steering means by a driver's seat side steering wheel 2 via a hydraulic piping 9. The steering torque input in the pump device 5 by the steering wheel 2 is detected by a torque sensor 35, and the pump device 5 is assist-driven in the steering direction by an electric motor 27, a worm gear 25 and a worm wheel 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
