A battery unit (10) having multiple high-voltage batteries (31a-33a) housed in a battery case (50), wherein the battery case (50) is provided with a bottom plate (51A) for mounting the high-voltage batteries (31a-33a) thereon and a cover (52) for covering the batteries from above. The bottom plate (51A) is provided with a plate-like tray (54), lateral reinforcement members (55), and multiple brackets (53). The lateral reinforcement members (55) are arranged so as to connect at least adjoining brackets (53), and the lateral reinforcement members (55) and the brackets (53) are arranged in a grid pattern with the tray (54) positioned therebetween. The high-voltage batteries (31a-33a) are fixed to the lateral reinforcement members (55) such that the longitudinal direction of the batteries is aligned with the vehicle width direction, and the battery case (50) is fixed to the underside of the floor of the vehicle (V) by means of the brackets (53). |
