Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of communications. Provided are a resource allocation method and apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a resource allocation request sent by a first UE, the first UE being any UE within a coverage range of a base station; allocating, if the resource allocation request carries a transmission resource index intercepted by the first UE, transmission resources to the first UE according to the transmission resource index; and sending the allocated transmission resources to the first UE. A UE intercepts transmission resources provided by a base station, so as to be capable of learning about idle transmission resources, and actively requests the base station for the idle transmission resources, such that the base station allocates the resources based on reporting of the UE. Thus, the present invention implements allocation rationalization of transmission resources, and improves the reuse rate of the transmission resources and the success rate of inter-vehicle communication in the internet of vehicles. |
