<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate material which can be developed on a printing machine, and is excellent in developing properties on the printing machine, in plate wear and in printability, and a method for printing using it. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing plate material having a hydrophilic layer and a thermal image forming layer on an aluminum substrate, the hydrophilic layer comprises a photo-thermal converting raw material and at least one selected from a titanium coupling agent, an aluminum coupling agent and a silane coupling agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
