JOINT BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint box that makes it possible to perform inspection work easily, even when an inspection window that is formed in a panel material is made comparatively small.

SOLUTION: A joint box unit 1 is mounted with a mounting screw 32 to a suspension bracket 5 fixed to a suspension bolt 4. The size of the joint box unit 1 when projected on a double ceiling material 3b is made to a size that makes the inside of the inspection window 6 changeable in the axial direction of the opening of the inspection window 6 (similar size to the inspection window 6 and containable inside the opening surface of the inspection window 6). A plurality of wire connecting portions that connect electric wires from the directions crossing the opening surface of the inspection window 6 are provided on the joint box unit 1. Each of the electric wire connecting portions comprises quick-connection terminals to which electric wires are electrically connected that are led into the joint box unit 1 through an electric-wires-leading-in block 12 protruding upward from the top surface of a body 10.
