<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load driving unit which has a function for turning on/off load current and a protection function at the time of battery reverse connection without making a circuit configuration complicated. <P>SOLUTION: A switch circuit 10 for turning on/off current to be supplied to a load 7 from a battery 2 consists of two MOSFETs 10A and 10B whose sources are commonly connected. A switch driving circuit for giving a driving signal to the MOSFETs 10A and 10B by causing current flow from the battery 2 through a diode D1, resistors 11 and 12 and a switch for control 13 is provided. A diode 14 for back flow prevention for preventing a driving signal from being given to the MOSFETs 10A and 10B because current is caused to flow to the switch driving circuit when the battery 2 is reversely connected, is provided in the switch driving circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
