<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-suction type traveling device suction a vacuum blower on a traveling device body, generating vacuum force by itself and capable of self-suction on not only a flat surface but also corroded projected/recessed wall surface and a ceiling part of concrete/coating surface/steel material to travel in the self-suction type traveling device. <P>SOLUTION: The self-suction type traveling device is provided with a body frame 1 having an outer peripheral part except for a suction part covered with a body cover 4; a crawler 6 or a wheel provided at both sides in an advancement direction of the body frame 1; a blower 2 for generating vacuum force mounted on the body frame 1; a brush type suction disc 3 attached to a lower side central part of the body frame 1; and a filter 8 for filtering aspiration air provided at the inner side of the brush type suction disc 3. The device is further provided with an exhaust gas suppression brush 20 at a lower end of the cover covering the outer peripheral part of the body frame 1. Generation/diffusion of dust caused by the fact that the exhaust gas of the blower for generating vacuum escapes to the outside can be suppressed by the exhaust gas suppression brush 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
