PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the most appropriate dilution blower control in which both protection of a recuperator and reduction of fuel unit consumption are consistent.SOLUTION: Thermometers 11 measure exhaust gas temperatures at two locations near inlets of recuperator 1 in exhaust gas flues 3 at east side and west side. In the case that higher exhaust gas temperature of the measured exhaust gas temperatures at two locations exceeds a prescribed threshold value, a control part 16 activates dilution blowers 14 installed at each of the exhaust gas flues 3 to supply surrounding air 4 into the recuperator 1 and at the same time controls a degree of opening of each of discharged flow adjustment valves 15. With this arrangement as above, since the higher exhaust gas temperature of the exhaust gas temperatures at two locations in each of the exhaust gas flues 3 is used for judging activation of each of the dilution blowers installed at each of the exhaust gas flues, it is possible to perform the most appropriate control in which both protection of the recuperator and reduction of fuel unit consumption are consistent. |
