PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of simply and efficiently manufacturing the master model for molding a tire, which has a complicated design or shape including a part difficult to process by a tool like the side surface part of a block design part having a complicated shape including undulation or a guide groove for arranging a complicated sipe blade having a three-dimensional shape or the like, in a desired design and shape. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the master model for molding the tire provided with a plurality of block design parts 5, which have shapes corresponding to the partial shapes of the tire having a predetermined surface shape and have the profile surfaces 4 demarcated by a plurality of the design grooves 2 on the upper part of a master main body 1, used when the mold for molding the tire is manufactured by a casting manufacturing method, separation parts 6, which have a shape for wholly or partially separating the side surface parts 3 of a plurality of the block design parts 5 demarcated by the design grooves 2, are formed and, after the profile surfaces 4 of the block design parts 5 and the separation parts 6 are processed into a predetermined shape, the separation parts 6 are mounted on the block design parts 5 to be combined therewith. |
