A rotation-blocking device including a stator, a rotor, at least one blocking element mounted between the stator and the rotor to be movable between a position of interaction with the rotor and the stator and a position retracted relative to the rotor, and actuator means including a coil wound on the stator and connected to a control unit to power the coil so as to create a magnetic field, the blocking element being made of a material sensitive to the magnetic field in such a manner that powering the coil causes the blocking element to move towards one of its positions.
