PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle remote operation system capable of remotely operating a vehicle while maintaining high crime prevention performance irrespective of encryption strength of authentication information.SOLUTION: A vehicle remote operation system, which remotely operates predetermined equipment of a vehicle via a vehicle control system 100 configured so that a vehicle control device 110 and a portable machine 120 are mutually wirelessly communicable, includes: an on-vehicle repeater 10 communicable with the vehicle control device; and a portable repeater 20 communicable with the portable machine. A transmission/reception circuit 11 of the on-vehicle repeater detects an envelope of a response request signal, and wirelessly transmits the detected envelope to the portable repeater. A transmission/reception circuit 22 of the portable repeater reproduces the response request signal based on the envelope received from the transmission/reception circuit of the on-vehicle repeater. |
