PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image which can be easily compared with an image captured by X-ray mammography to an image reader.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes a generation means which generates two-dimensional images of left and right breasts of a subject respectively from three-dimensional image data obtained by imaging the left and right breasts, and generates a comparison two-dimensional image in which the left and right breasts are symmetrically arranged by arranging respective chest wall portions in the generated tomographic images face to each other; and a display control means which causes a display unit to display the comparison two-dimensional image. |
